NextGen Escambia CDC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to building stronger, healthier, and more equitable communities across Escambia County. We collaborate with funding agencies, developers, and community partners to expand affordable housing, support economic opportunity, and improve quality of life for residents. Our work reflects a deep commitment to long-term sustainability and inclusive neighborhood revitalization.
Our growing team is building trusted relationships with local, state, and federal partners, as well as private investors and service providers. Together, we aim to deliver transformative development projects that create lasting impact, foster self-sufficiency, and strengthen the economic and social fabric of Escambia County.
NextGen Escambia Community Development Corporation (CDC) was founded to spark hope, equity, and opportunity in Escambia County. Born from a vision to rebuild and revitalize underserved neighborhoods, NextGen Escambia exists to address the growing need for affordable housing, economic mobility, and community development across the region. Our guiding belief is simple every resident deserves access to a safe home, stable income, and strong community.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, NextGen is committed to developing and sustaining affordable housing that serves as a foundation for growth and empowerment. Though we are a new organization, our mission is bold to create inclusive, thriving communities where families can live, work, and prosper.
Our comprehensive approach focuses on three key pillars which are Housing Development, Economic Empowerment, and Community Advancement. Through these pillars, we aim to expand affordable housing, promote small business and workforce opportunities, and foster environments where families can thrive physically, financially, and socially.
